Donald Greco was born in Brooklyn, New York. He has always been involved in the arts, starting with music. He started playing bass guitar at the age of nine. Then in 1989 he discovered his true talent in painting. Donald was exhilerated with the results. He continued to experiment with different techniques and styles.

Donald's images are mostly created in his mind. He believes we are all born with a spirit that is a part of God. We are His children and He is the master of creation. Being His children we have that same gift of creating. God is Donald's inspiration and he is in awe at the beauty of God's creations. He also credits Bob Ross' techniques and philosophy in art and life for giving him the courage to follow his dreams and ambitions as an artist.
