Cyndi was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, raised in Northern Ohio, and spent several years in California before finding her way to Austin, Texas in the early 80's.

Having taken classes in oil painting, watercolor, and Japanese brush painting, it wasn't until relatively recently that she discovered that the medium that would bring her success and satisfaction was…real flowers. She first used flowers as art to make stationery for her mother on Mother's Day 1995. Since then, Cyndi has sold 150 framed pieces.

In 1999, Cyndi was invited to enter the 33rd Annual Regional Juried Art Show, sponsored by the Richardson Civic Art Society in Richardson, Texas. Her collage, "River's Edge" was one of 75 works chosen from nearly 300 entries.
