Oliver O. Francis was born in Jamaica, West Indies.  Around 1974, he had an interest in art at a very early age.  Not being financially able to attend an art school to develop his talent for art, he scribbled pictures on the ground with sticks.

The drawings that he did on the ground with sticks were being noticed by everyone.  The drawings that he did were very good, he acknowledges that it was a gift from God.

Later on he developed his artistic skills by taking art lessons from a professional artist.  In 1990 he migrated to the United States.  That same year he enrolled in a Home Study Course with The Art Instruction School.

He now specializes in Still-life and Landscape drawings and paintings.
