Artist and creator of “The Ready Warrior”, a collection of oilacrylic paintings depicting the Global Marital Arts Community from ancient times to the present. Influenced by her eldest son, a life-time student of the martial arts, who asked her to do a Samurai Painting.

In the Ready Warrior these unique individuals are seen in lavish settings, which include waterfalls, mountains, tropical forests, and an awareness in communion with the self, the creation and respect for all life, while at the same time prepared to deal with conflict and chaos.

Born in Raleigh, North Carolina she traveled extensively with her career Marine husband. While in Yokohama, Japan, she studied under Master Artist Fumio Yoshino.

Her art is her passion and her mission is to show and share with everyone the personal excellence generated by the many fine individuals belonging to the ever growing Global Martial Arts Community. She is also in the process of publishing a book, the Ready Warrior which combines 4 separate volumes of paintings, to be available in 2004.
